I've only played it a little but it didn't seem that bad. Maybe you're at the typical beginning of the RPG (you know, how just about EVERY RPG starts slow with you at a low level with few attacks so you just keep hitting attack and it's boring?).
A friend of mine insists it is the best game ever and calls it the best GameCube game. I'll have to show him this thread.

I like how it's completely free. No restrictions. See, this is how you do things. I realize it's a little different for Music and Movies, but if you want to create a standard, it should be earned by being good and being easily adopted. And I hope this is widely adopted. Adobe has really earned repsect for this one.
But yeah, it probably has a lot to do with the jpeg thing.

My [rediction is this: Because OS X.1.x supported only UP TO 120 GB drives, that's all they gave it. But being Jaguar can support pretty much any-sized drive, I think that they will soon replace them with 200+ GB drives (the 200 GB drives are out now, Maxtor has 320 GB ones coming soon) How about an Xserver with 800 GB of storage? Not too bad I think :) (Or that RAID! 14*200 = 1800 GB!!)

Illustrator is the buggiest of the 4 in the CS. Been waiting for this update for a while...
Still, Adobe are usually pretty swift (compared to Quark) about fixing stuff.
Edit: Mind you, don't expect a lot -- they're gearing up for CS2

Firefox has been my browser on the PC since it was Mozilla and it's been a great browser, no problems, no crashes and it works like Safari which makes me very happy. Once a website I use moves away from IE (lousy thing only works on IE 6.0 or IE for OSX, bah!) I'm never using Internet Explorer again.
Furthermore, when this site works with Firefox, I'm instituting a company policy requiring Firefox over IE; we're tired of worrying about security and 2006 is far too long to wait for another version, MS has truly dropped the ball on this one.

What would a advance civilization have to gain by contacting man? a species that just climbed out of the cave and kills each other and wars with itself over religion & the earths resources every single day. Plus why would ET use slow radio waves? makes no sense at all plus there is all kinds of proof that the pentagon is hiding its knowledge of ET from our own govt and its people. We are "suppose " to think that we are the center of the universe. The govt wants it that way.

What a silly thought. Of course it's not free. I'm saying that it is just as unethical for Apple to ignore Linux as it is for DVD Jon to try and play music on Linux. We are not talking about what is technically wrong here. After all, every country has a different set of laws. We are talking about what is the right thing to do. It would hardly be a burden for Apple to port iTunes and open up Airport drivers.
The main concern of mine is Apple's stubborn refusal to adapt to simple standards. They haven't kept up with GNU standards in GCC, they won't port Quicktime or iTunes to Linux, they won't make open drivers available for Airport cards. Apple is losing quite a few fans. I was a huge Apple fan for a long time (3/4 of my life). Now, I am losing respect for Apple's ridiculous money-making stubborness.
And don't try and argue that Mac OS X is just the same as linux. It isn't.

Is it common in your country for companies to run ads made for American audiences without retooling them with British actors, etc? IE, do you see a lot of "American" ads?We often get foreign ads � normally from Europe though, and normally for cleaning products, for some reason. They generally are badly dubbed with 'proper' British voices, so you can spot them a mile off. :D

Ok, I don't want to spend too much time on this but let me help you out as much as I can. If you are looking to do web site design with CSS you should really get a book.
I don't remember saying I wanted to learn CSS, I am just querying how much Firefox (and Safari) form fields can be changed by CSS as I can't recall ever seeing a button face, for example, looking anything other than standard.

Don't know if the one in London ever got off the ground.
If I recall correctly there was one in DC and the idea of having one in Boston or the MA area was floated.
MacAztec: Alphatech has been gone for a very, very long time. He left when we still posted regularly here, which itself hasn't been for a very long time. He started his own site, the Techpub, which last time I checked has been doing alright for itself.

But I think that the 32 - bit version, will only be "firmware hacked" so that the bootloader will not allow you to boot OS 9. This could be Steve's ultimate attempt to make the rest step over to Mac OS X.
