WoW, Unreal Tournament, Need for Speed...eh....That's all I've played on the Macbook. The integrated graphics pretty much suck to high heaven, so game playing won't be pretty. Solitaire graphics do kicks ass when you are on a 12 hour shift though :p

are there alternatives to these scripts?
i'd like to get F@H setup on a couple of rigs here at work and it's generally better to keep the terminal hidden so people don't kill it.

Yeah, I got the same thing as i_wolf. They may not say "Shipping in 4-6/6-8 weeks" on the main page under the "Fastest" and "Ultimate" headings, but it shows up as 6-8 when you review your order.

MacCoaster, wouldn't it be more accurate to use clock() instead of time()? Here's with that change:
#include <stdio.h>
#include <time.h>
#include <math.h>
int main()

Actually, I haven't been very detailed on a number of things cause I wanted to stay focused on what I want to see come out of MWSF.
Also, technical differences don't matter when it comes to selling boxes, specs matter. The public is not going to care that FireWire is superior, but they are going to care that they can connect their new 5 megapixel still camera to the computer over USB 2.0 but not FireWire. That is why I want to see USB 2.0 arrive at MWSF.
Also, ATA100 in a laptop doesn't do you any good - the drives can only transfer about 15-20MB/s tops. What does matter is the buying public checking out the specs and comparing them to the PCs. That is why I want to see improved specs come out of MWSF.
Yes, I DEFINITELY want to see more USB ports on Apple's machines. I personally have 5 USB devices and only 2 damned USB ports. I'm tired of plugging/unplugging and not being able to use all devices at the same time. I DO have a USB hub (powered even), but 2 of the devices require a direct connection, so I'm still swapping devices. GRRRR. So yes, this is another thing I need to see arrive at MWSF.
I was being overly optimistic about battery life - but hey one can hope can't we? They are playing with lithium-polymer in the lab, so who knows?
:)

I'm thinking about getting the godfather for the wii...although a port it looks to be interesting.
I think those ratings are just right most importantly Zelda TP. I thought gamespot had a soft spot for the wii because love to talk about it and give it praise.
Bless
8.9 is the lowest score of all the major game ratings sites. His justifications were based on no orchestral music and graphics. Basically, he's a graphics whore.
I watched the movie 300 this weekend and it reminded me very much of many next gen games. Without all the eyecandy there was very little movie there at all. It was a nice distraction and fun to watch but not something I will go back to over and over again. The games that the graphics whores at Gamespot rate as 8s have far more substance to them than most of the popular modern AAA titles. Thats just my opinion though. You don't have to believe it.

Seems like a good business move for Google. They put their quality products on the largest PC manufacturer's machines and reap the benefits of getting billions of more hits to their Web site.

It's not like Apple is sitting on tons of processors. They buy from Motorola. Motorla may or may not be sitting on processors... but it's non of Apple's concern.
The reason why the 7470 isn't used is that the 7470 is a figment of your imagination. It does not exist.

I've had several people telling me from other teams that it's not fair that only one person on one team will benefit for helping my nephew and I say that person is right. I'm changing my offer. One person will get all my WU for a month, and if my nephew wins, each team with at least one vote will also get all my WU for a month. Basically if my nephew wins, this team is already guaranteed to get my 80k+ points for a month.
Thanks everyone and keep voting.

Yes, Tiger can support multiple CPU's. Look at all the super clusters like Virginia Tech.
And by the way, Apple already has a quad cpu machine available to buy today.

Yes, i know it's not the same thing as four cores on one processor, but I was just showing the four cores, and the fact that Tiger supports multiple CPU's.

Entirely depends on what you want out of the game. If you want to go after the very top end rewards then you will have to group together to get them, and invest a severe amount of time doing so.
However, it sounds like you play exactly the same way I do. Blizzard have put a lot of effort into making WoW accessible for the solo/casual player, and there is a vast amount of content that you can easily and enjoyably play in the way you want. You are in no way penalised for not being part of a guild or for not participating in raids etc. I am up to level 50 and I have played very much in the way you have described and enjoyed every minute of it.
I would say give it a go.

The big question for me:
Does it support middle-click yet?
If so I'll happily switch from Camino.

Steal: To take (the property of another) without right or permission.
When you copy something, you're not taking it. The original is still there.
Ooooooohhh... so I'm all turned around on this whole P2P thing.
